God has raised up Prophets and Prophetesses in these last days to build up the Church of Christ. A Prophet is one who speaks what God wants spoken. Sometimes Prophets see visions and have dreams as well. Samuel started a school for the prophets. Prophecy from God is very important because God says surely He does nothing without first revealing to the prophets what He is about to do on the earth. A true prophet of God has to hear God clearly and then speak for God when God wants him or her to.
